EM Crit RACC Blog and Podcast – series of podcasts by the EM Critical team in the USA – great website as well and they publish guidebooks for intensive care!
ACCRAC Podcast – Run by Jed Wolpaw, Professor of Anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins University in the USA, on topics relating to anaesthesia and critical care.

A matter of life and death – excellent film from 1946 with classic neuroanaesthesia scenes!
A Young Doctor’s Notebook (also a book by Mikhail Bulgakov)
TV series starring Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe. A young doctor starts his career as a physician in rural Russia.
One flew over the cuckoo’s nest starring Jack Nicholson about his experiences in a mental health hospital
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly – starring Mathieu Amalric, Emmanuelle Seigner, and Marie-Josée Croze. Theme: Locked in syndrome
Requiem for a dream – An award winning (very depressing) film about addiction
Still Alice – a movie starring Julianne Moore and Kate Bosworth. Theme: Alzheimer’s disease
It’s a wonderful life – a movie that needs no introduction!
Gua Sha – a film about a Chinese American family who has to fight for their son, who is removed by child protection after being given a traditional chinese medical therapy

Wit – a movie starring Emma Thompson about a lady professor’s ordeal with ovarian cancer
Awakenings – A movie starring Robert de Niro and Robin Williams about a shy young research doctor who discovers that his comatose patients still have a life inside them
The Doctor – a movie about a heart surgeon who becomes a patient
Shutter Island – The Scorcese film that Leonardo DiCaprio should have won his Oscar for. Theme: Mental health
