- National Emergency Laparotomy Audit have produced a number of reports and you may also be involved in the audit in your local hospital
- NELA risk calculation tool (similar to p-possum)
- P Possum risk calculation tool
- NCEPOD is the National Confidential Enquiry into Patient Outcomes and Death group that investigates areas where patients have poor outcomes and has published multiple reports that have changed our practice in surgery and anaesthesia. Worth having a look.
- Surgical outcome risk tool (SORT) is a risk calculator derived from years of NCEPOD data, available in app form and can give an idea of mortality risk from a number of procedures, not just laparotomy
